Income-Based Tiering Framework
WHML.ORG applies an income-based tiering system to ensure equitable and transparent membership fees across global regions. This framework is calibrated to the World Bank's four income classifications: Low income economies (A), Lower-middle income economies (B), Upper-middle income economies (C), and High income economies (D).
These are updated annually on 1 July, based on Gross National Income (GNI) per capita calculated using the Atlas method. These classifications are widely recognized in international economic and policy analyses, including resources from World Bank, Our World in Data, and OECD.
